Tensile Testing Machine

Background
Weber State University is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) under the State of Utah Procurement Code and WSU’s Policies and Procedures.
The goal of this contract is to procure a Tensile Testing Machine to support the university's mission in providing quality education and research facilities.

Work Details
The contract involves the one-time purchase of a Tensile Testing Machine, specifically the TestreSources model 314, with a capacity of 22,500 lb (100 kN) or an equivalent model.
The machine must include:
- Newton Universal Control Electronics Hardware
- Required Newton Universal Test non-network software
- Grips and jaws for tensile testing
- Compression platens grip
- A 3-point bend fixture

Additionally, shipping, delivery, installation, and testing of the equipment must be included. Technical support must be provided along with a warranty of no less than 12 months. The price quoted must be complete for all specified items including shipping.

Period of Performance
The purchase order resulting from this IFB will be for a one-time purchase.
Weber State University reserves the right to purchase additional products based upon this bid for up to 120 days after the initial purchase.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Weber State University located at 3850 Dixon Parkway, Dept 1013, Ogden, UT 84408-1013.
