Background
The Sheriff’s Office of Salt Lake County is issuing a contract for rotation towing services. The goal of this contract is to establish a list of qualified vendors who can provide towing services for evidence collection.

These services must be available 24/7 throughout the year. This no-cost contract will not hold Salt Lake County responsible for any charges incurred during towing; instead, charges will be directed to vehicle owners or their insurance companies as per Utah Administrative Code R909-19.

Work Details
The successful bidders must meet the following specifications:
- Availability: Vendors must be available 24/7, 365 days a year.
- Equipment: Vendors must be equipped to tow large vehicles and items, including capabilities for steep canyon areas or off-road conditions and in inclement weather.
- Rotation: Successful bidders will be added to the tow rotation list for the Sheriff’s Office.
- Compliance: Bidders must comply with environmental compliance statements and insurance requirements as outlined in the General Bid Requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will continue indefinitely as long as the vendors meet the specifications and requirements set forth by Salt Lake County.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within Salt Lake County, Utah.
