SLCo ART114013 Broadway Co-Presenter RFP

Background
Salt Lake County (the 'County'), through its Arts & Culture Division (A&C), is seeking proposals from qualified theatrical presenters to partner in presenting an annual series of touring Broadway plays and musicals at the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater.

The Eccles Theater has successfully co-presented the Broadway at the Eccles series since its opening in fall 2016, achieving high attendance and gross revenues. This indicates a strong demand for such performances in the region.

Work Details
The selected Co-Presenter will be responsible for managing the programming, marketing, and operational aspects of the performances. This includes presenting an annual series of touring Broadway plays and musicals at the Eccles Theater.

The Co-Presenter will work alongside A&C to ensure continued success of the Broadway at the Eccles series, which has featured 111 performances across 9 titles in its most recent season with over 95% average capacity sold.

Period of Performance
The contract period is expected to commence upon execution and will cover multiple seasons of programming as outlined in the RFP. Specific dates will be determined based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance delivery will be the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater, a state-of-the-art facility located in Salt Lake County.
