RFP - Facilities Management Plan

Background
Summit County is seeking a firm to provide facility condition and usage analysis in order to develop a twenty-year Facilities Management Plan. The County provides services from several facilities, and the major employee-occupied facilities are located in Coalville, Hoytsville, Kamas, Quinn’s Junction, Silver Creek Junction, and Kimball Junction. The County desires a study to analyze the physical condition and organizational use of several of the buildings to identify deficiencies, problems, maintenance items, hazards, risks, and code compliance.
The analysis should also consider the efficient utilization of facilities taking into account current and projected needs, as well as provide Capital Improvement Project (CIP) recommendations for immediate, one, five, ten, and twenty-year expenditures including related cost projections for the recommended improvements. Additionally, the facility replacement costs need to be determined to determine the cost of a like facility either in the same location or an alternate needs-based location per recommendations.
