Provo City Riverwood and 5600 North ASR Injection Wells

Background
The Provo City Riverwood and 5600 North ASR Injection Wells project is initiated by Provo City, aiming to enhance its water management capabilities. The goal of this contract is to modify existing water wells to improve their functionality and ensure the effective injection of water into the aquifer, thereby supporting the city's water supply and sustainability efforts.

Work Details
The work generally includes:
1. Modifying two existing water wells to also function as injection wells.
2. Furnishing and installing mechanical and electrical equipment necessary for the operation of the injection wells.
3. Cleaning the exterior of the well pumps and pipes as directed by the engineer.
4. Disinfecting the wells after completion of well work to ensure water quality.
5. Commissioning of the system to verify that it operates according to specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from August 26, 2024, with a bid opening at 2:00 PM MDT, until September 25, 2024, when bids will close at 4:00 PM MDT.
