Architectural and Design Services for the Davis County Bountiful Branch Library

Background
Davis County Government owns the Bountiful Branch Library located at 725 South Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. The library, dedicated in January 1970, is the oldest library building currently in operation in Davis County. It has undergone various renovations, including a significant remodel in 2000 to create a children's area.

The Bountiful Branch Library is the largest library in terms of size and collections within the county and has the highest circulation among the seven locations of the Davis County Library System. The County intends to construct a new Bountiful Branch Library on the same campus as the existing facility and seeks to contract with a licensed professional architectural firm experienced in designing public libraries or similar facilities for this project.

Work Details
The selected architectural firm will provide comprehensive design services for the new Bountiful Branch Library. This includes but is not limited to:
- Conducting site assessments
- Developing architectural plans
- Ensuring compliance with local building codes
- Engaging in community consultations
- Delivering final design documents suitable for construction.

The firm must demonstrate a passion for achieving a successful outcome for the project and possess relevant experience in public library design.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon selection of the architectural firm and is expected to continue through the design phase until completion of all required design documents. Specific timelines will be outlined in subsequent agreements following proposal acceptance.
