Description

The Texas A&M University System ( A&M System ) is seeking proposals for qualified website hosting firms interested in providing web hosting solutions to meet the needs of its universities and agencies ( Members ). It is the intent of A&M System to establish a master services agreement ( Agreement ) with one or more firms (referred to as Respondent or Vendor ) to meet the needs of its Members per the requirements listed in Section 3 of the RFP.See attached RFP and related documents.
Background
The Texas A&M University System is seeking proposals for qualified website hosting firms interested in providing web hosting solutions to meet the needs of its universities and agencies. The A&M System is one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a budget of $7.8 billion. Through a statewide network of 11 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, and the RELLIS Campus, the Texas A&M System educates more than 153,000 students and makes more than 23 million additional educational contacts through service and outreach programs each year. System-wide, research and development expenditures exceed $1 billion and help drive the state’s economy.

Work Details
The proposed solution(s) offered must meet specific requirements such as accessible administrative user interfaces, availability and uptime guarantees, physical location options, scalability in resources, layers of security, customer support and training resources, reporting capabilities, automation capabilities, system security and disaster recovery compliance with FERPA requirements, accessibility standards compliance under Texas Government Code Chapter 2054, Subchapter M, Texas Administrative Code 206.70 and Texas Administrative Code 213.

The Texas A&M University System is requesting proposals for qualified Web Hosting services for use within each Member of the A&M System.

Period of Performance
If the A&M System enters into an Agreement with one or more successful Respondents as a result of this RFP, the resultant Agreements shall be effective upon execution for a period of three (3) years. Any resultant Agreement may be extended for up to two (2) additional two (2) year terms.

Place of Performance
All Members of the Texas A&M University System are in scope.
