The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for Waste Disposal Services for San Antonio State Hospital (SASH) Building 817. Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB. The HHSC PCS division administers the procurement process, including IFB announcement and publication, Bidder communications, receipt of Responses, screening of timely received responses, and facilitating the evaluation of qualified Responses.

Work Details
The Waste Disposal Services for San Antonio State Hospital (SASH) Building 817 at 6711 S. New Braunfels, Building 817, San Antonio, TX 78223 includes garbage and trash removal, disposal, and treatment services. The services must be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Central Time). The Contractor shall respond to all service calls within four (4) hours of HHS Agency request.
The services may also include on-call service to start then a schedule will be assigned.
The Contractor is responsible for providing substitutes for any absent employees or Subcontractor’s employees providing services at the HHS facility.
