Waco Driver's License Office Construction Project

Background
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking bids for a minor construction project at the Driver’s License office located at 1617 E Crest Dr., Waco, TX 76705. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facilities to better serve the public in obtaining driver's licenses.

Work Details
The project includes selective demolition, custom casework, installation of hollow metal doors, flush wood doors, door hardware, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board installation, resilient base flooring, and interior painting. Specific sections include:

- Section 02 41 19: Selective Demolition
- Section 06 41 00: Custom Casework
- Section 08 11 13: Hollow Metal Doors
- Section 08 14 16: Flush Wood Doors
- Section 08 71 00: Door Hardware
- Section 09 22 16: Non-Structural Metal Framing
- Section 09 29 00: Gypsum Board
- Section 09 65 13: Resilient Base Floor
- Section 09 91 23: Interior Painting.

Additionally, bidders will have access to drawings and specifications that detail the work required.

Period of Performance
The contract term commences on the effective date stated in the signing document and expires one year from that effective date.
