Tree and Vegetation Management Services

Background
The City of Austin is seeking proposals for tree trimming and removal services as part of its urban forestry programs.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the management and maintenance of urban trees, ensuring the health and safety of the city's green spaces.

Work Details
The contractor will provide tree trimming and removal services, which include but are not limited to:
- Trimming trees to promote healthy growth and remove hazardous branches.
- Removing dead or diseased trees to prevent safety hazards.
- Conducting assessments of tree health and providing recommendations for care.
- Reporting on work completed through weekly reports as specified in the solicitation documents.
- Utilizing certified arborists and licensed pesticide applicators as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will continue until all obligations are fulfilled, with an option for extension at the City's discretion.
The initial term is expected to last until all services are completed, with a holdover period not exceeding 180 days if necessary.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the City of Austin, Texas.
