Background
The Houston Airport System (HAS) operates the City of Houston's three major airports: George Bush Intercontinental Airport/Houston (IAH), William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), and Ellington Airport (EFD).

The City of Houston is seeking qualified consultants to provide Information Technology (IT) professional services to assist HAS in accomplishing current and future technology initiatives. This contract aims to enhance HAS’s technological infrastructure and capabilities, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of service and safety for airport patrons.

Work Details
The selected consultant will provide comprehensive IT consulting services in the following areas:
1) Technology planning and studies;
2) Application development, hosting, and cloud services;
3) Design services and construction administration;
4) Program/project management;
5) Information technology security services;
6) Artificial intelligence, including generative AI and augmented reality.

The contractor will serve as an extension of the HAS IT Division staff, providing recommendations, management, controls, administration, and technical services necessary for implementing HAS technology initiatives. Specific tasks include conducting feasibility studies, performing application development and maintenance, providing project management support, ensuring compliance with security regulations, and assisting with recruitment services as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a term of three (3) years with two (2) one-year renewal options. The estimated contract start date is March 17, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Houston Airport System locations including George Bush Intercontinental Airport/Houston (IAH), William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), and Ellington Airport (EFD).
