RFP (CSP) 24-077 Bee Creek and Central Park Tennis Courts Renovations

Background
The City of College Station, Texas is issuing this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFP) for the renovation of tennis courts at Bee Creek Park and Central Park. The goal of this contract is to enhance recreational facilities in the area, ensuring they meet modern standards and provide safe, enjoyable spaces for community use.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:
- At Bee Creek Park (1900 Anderson Street, College Station):
- Demolish existing tennis courts.
- Rebuild using post-tension concrete slab method.
- Remove and reroute an existing 6” waterline.
- Install park bench anchors before casting concrete.
- Install chain link fence around new courts.
- Run electrical conduit to new third-party light poles.

- At Central Park (1000 Krenek Tap Road, College Station):
- Demolish existing tennis court.
- Install new concrete post-tension slab.
- Install new fencing and perform electrical routing as required.

Additional requirements include:
- Coordination of all work, inspections, and approvals with the City of College Station.
- Compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations including obtaining necessary permits.
- Maintenance of project records such as record drawings and warranties for approval by the City.

Period of Performance
The construction must achieve substantial completion within 180 calendar days from the start date, with work scheduled to be performed between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at two locations in College Station, Texas: Bee Creek Park located at 1900 Anderson Street and Central Park located at 1000 Krenek Tap Road.
