RFP 25-18669-YB Mowing Services for City of Lubbock Properties

Background
The City of Lubbock, Texas, is seeking proposals for mowing services for various city properties. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of city-owned lands through professional mowing services, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functional quality of public spaces.

Work Details
The contractor will provide mowing services that include but are not limited to: regular mowing of designated areas, trimming around obstacles, edging along sidewalks and curbs, blowing off debris from hard surfaces post-mowing, and ensuring all equipment used is appropriate for the tasks.

The contractor must comply with all applicable local regulations and standards for landscaping services. The contract may also include provisions for additional services such as weed control, fertilization, and seasonal clean-up as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a term of one (1) year with the option to extend for four (4) additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement. The contract will commence upon formal approval by the City.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Lubbock, Texas.
