RFB 6539 Manhole Covers and Accessories

Background
The City of Corpus Christi is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide manhole covers and accessories for Corpus Christi Water (CCW). This request for bids (RFB No. 6539) aims to fulfill the city's infrastructure needs related to water management and maintenance.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide manhole covers and accessories including rings, covers, and adjustable risers on an as-needed basis. Specific requirements include:

- All manhole covers must have a one-inch hole, pick slot, and be made of domestic steel.
- All manhole risers must be adjustable and compatible with East Jordon Iron Works products used throughout the city.
- Delivery of products must occur between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding city holidays. The delivery address is 2726 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
- All prices are F.O.B. destination, with inside delivery to the CCW facility, freight prepaid. Products must be defect-free and properly packed for safe delivery. Non-conforming products will not be accepted.

Period of Performance
The contract term is one year with two optional one-year extensions available upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Corpus Christi, Texas, specifically at the CCW facility located at 2726 Holly Road.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have operated continuously for a minimum of three years in providing similar services. They should not have any outstanding lawsuits or regulatory issues that could affect their ability to perform the work. Bidders are required to submit references from current and former clients along with a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and other specified forms.
