Replacement of Fence at Mustang Bayou Service Area Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Background
The City of Missouri City, Texas is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) 25-043 for the replacement of the fence at the Mustang Bayou Service Area Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project aims to enhance security and provide a visual barrier for adjacent properties while removing existing barbed wire fencing. The City seeks to establish a turnkey lump sum contract with a qualified contractor who can provide all necessary resources and services to complete the work as specified.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the following:

1. Replacement of the existing 6-foot chain link fence with an 8-foot tall cedar fence along the north and east property lines.
2. The east property line is approximately 860 linear feet, and the north property line is approximately 230 linear feet, which includes a walkthrough gate.
3. The new fence must connect cleanly to the existing fences on the south and west sides, which are not being replaced.
4. A temporary fence must be installed between the demolition of the old fence and installation of the new one to ensure public safety and facility protection.
5. All materials used must comply with specifications outlined in Exhibit B, including cedar pickets, galvanized steel posts, and gates.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP) by the City and must be completed within a timeframe specified in the contractor's bid proposal.

The work will be performed at Mustang Bayou Wastewater Treatment Plant Facility located at 3650 Trammel Fresno Road, Missouri City, TX 77489.
