The Health and Human Services Commission ( Owner ), for and onbehalf of its Health and Specialty Care System Division ( HSCS ), is solicitingCompetitive Sealed Proposals ( Proposals ) for selection of a GeneralContractor ( Contractor ) to provide general construction and constructionadministration services to the Owner for Project No. 24-106-DLC Fire AlarmUpgrades (the Project ), in accordance with the terms, conditions, andrequirements set forth in this Solicitation.
This Solicitation is being issued to select a Contractor forthe Project under authority of Texas Government Code, Section 2155.144(b-2) andChapter 2269, Subchapter D.
Project Summary: The scope of work includes, but is notlimited to, the following:
The project, located at the Denton State Supported LivingCenter Campus, involves upgrading fire safety systems in three buildings: 518,593, and 552. The scope includes replacing the existing automatic fire alarmsystems, detection mechanisms, and occupant notification systems to enhancesafety and ensure compliance with current fire safety standards. This criticalupgrade will provide modernized fire alarm infrastructure to better protect theoccupants of these facilities.

Project Estimate: The approximate cost for construction of theProject is $403,579.00.
