Marsh Buggy and Tilt Deck Trailer

Background
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking to purchase one (1) Marsh Buggy with accessories and a tilt deck trailer as per the attached specifications dated February 2025.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the operational capabilities of TPWD in managing wildlife and natural resources effectively.

Work Details
1. Marsh Buggy with accessories: 1 Each. Examples include Marsh Master MM-2MX-KC-FF-FH and Marsh Runner MR200 or TPWD approved equivalent. Specifications include: minimum length of 15'10" to maximum 16'11", width of 8'6", height between 8'8" and 9'2", dry weight between 7,500 lbs and 8,000 lbs, floating load capacity between 1,400 lbs and 1,600 lbs, includes windshield, slip-resistant deck coating, stainless-steel fasteners, aluminum fuel tank capacity of 14 to 29 gallons, hydraulic front and rear hitches for easy implement installation, rearview camera in cab, minimum two seats, cab cooling fans, fire suppression system with a minimum of 100 gallons total water capacity.

2. Tilt Deck Trailer: 1 Each. Examples include Big Tex 14TL20 or TPWD approved equivalent. Specifications include: tilt deck width of 8' to 8'6", minimum deck length of 20', fixed deck width between 8' to 8'4", fixed deck length of at least 4', equipped with four D-ring tie downs, commercial radial tires with a load rating of at least 10,000 lbs.

Period of Performance
The contract shall commence upon the issuance of a Purchase Order by TPWD and will automatically expire upon the delivery date agreed upon and final acceptance by TPWD.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to TPWD – J.D. Murphree Wildlife Management Area located at 10 Parks & Wildlife Dr., Port Arthur, TX 77640.
