Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for the operation and management of Direct Child Care Services (CCS) in Cameron County. Key responsibilities include:
- Efficient and effective management of CCS operations.
- Providing quality customer services to families utilizing CCS.
- Meeting or exceeding performance expectations set by WFS Cameron.
- Maximizing available resources and minimizing operational costs.
- Offering consumer education regarding child care options.
- Coordinating enrollment, attendance, and payment processes for child care providers.

The contractor will also promote the expansion of child care services to meet community needs while ensuring that all activities are conducted in the best interest of the children served.

Period of Performance
The contract will begin on October 1, 2025, and will have an initial duration of one year, ending on September 30, 2026. It may be renewed annually for up to four additional years based on performance and funding availability.
