Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for grounds and lawn care maintenance located at the Waco campus. TSTC will rely on the supplier's expertise, knowledge of local planting conditions, soil conditions, and seasonal landscaping requirements needed to provide the service. This solicitation may be awarded in part, or in whole, to one or multiple suppliers. TSTC will rely on the awarded supplier(s) to optimize TSTC's aesthetic value and provide TSTC with the highest quality service at the lowest cost.Mandatory Pre-Bid: Located at TSTC Physical Plant - 1200 Greenway Dr. Waco, TX 76705, on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 from 9:00-11:00am CST. Background
Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is a coeducational two-year institution of higher education offering courses of study in technical vocational education for which there is demand within the State of Texas. TSTC is mandated to contribute to the educational and economic development of the State of Texas by offering occupationally oriented programs with supporting academic coursework, emphasizing highly specialized advanced and emerging technical and vocational areas for certificates or associate degrees. The mission of TSTC is to place more Texans in great paying jobs, driving the institution's education outcomes as the driving metric of success.
TSTC currently has 11 campuses across the state, with another new campus recently approved by the State Legislature that should be built and operating in the next few years.
Work Details
The solicitation is for grounds and lawn care maintenance located at the Waco campus. The supplier is expected to provide expertise, knowledge of local planting conditions, soil conditions, and seasonal landscaping requirements needed to provide the service. The contract may be awarded in part or in whole to one or multiple suppliers.
The awarded supplier(s) will be relied upon to optimize TSTC’s aesthetic value and provide the highest quality service at the lowest cost.
The agreement will be for two (2) years with an option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
Period of Performance
The contract performance period will be for two (2) years with an option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Texas State Technical College's Waco campus located at 1200 Greenway Dr., Waco, TX 76705.
