Install HVAC Inmate Housing - Luther Unit

Background
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking proposals for the installation of a new HVAC system in Inmate Housing at the Luther Unit located in Navasota, Texas.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the living conditions within the facility by ensuring proper climate control and connection to emergency power systems.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for installing a new HVAC system that includes:
- Connection to emergency power.
- Compliance with specifications and drawings provided in the solicitation documents.
- An itemized breakdown of materials, labor, overhead, and profit as part of the Lump Sum Cost Proposal, which has an estimated budget of $5,978,300.00.
- The proposal must also include information on any recycled materials used in the project.
All work must conform to TDCJ's standards and regulations.

Period of Performance
The performance period for this contract shall be 450 days, commencing from the date designated in the Notice to Proceed.
Mobilization should begin within 30 days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed, with actual work starting within 45 days.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Luther Unit located in Navasota, Texas.
