Background
The City of Houston, through its Public Works department, is seeking bids for the procurement of a New Rotork Electric Actuator. The goal of this contract is to furnish, deliver, and transport the specified equipment according to the City’s specifications. This aims to ensure that the City receives high-quality equipment that meets operational standards.

Work Details
The vendor is required to furnish, deliver, and transport a New Rotork Electric Actuator as per the specifications provided. The actuator must be new, unused, and of first quality from reputable manufacturers. Bids will be accepted for any make or model that is equal or superior to the specified product. The actuator must meet specific criteria including:

- Manufacturer Product Number: MODEL IQ18FA10 A
- Ingress Protection: IP66/IP68 - 7 meters/72 hours
- Operating Temperature: -30° C to 70° C
- Motor: Three phase low inertia squirrel cage motor with class F insulation
- Service/Duty Rating: Class A (On/Off)/Class B (Inching)
- Local Controls: Open/Close selector and padlockable Local/Stop/Remote selector
- Local Indication: Digital valve position indicator with LED indicators
- Warranty: 12 months against defects in materials and quality. The vendor must pay shipping costs for defective items during the warranty period. All items must be inspected upon delivery for damage or defects before acceptance.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon receipt of the purchase order and will continue until all products are delivered and accepted by the City of Houston.

Place of Performance
Delivery must be made to the City of Houston/NE Water Treatment Plant located at 12550 Waterworks Way, Humble, TX 77396. Deliveries are accepted Monday through Friday between 7:00 am – 3:00 pm CST.
