Until 2pm on April 18, 2025. Hard copies will not be accepted; late submissions will not be accepted.The City of Hutto, a home rule municipality, is seeking sealed bids for the removal and replacement of existing sidewalks as detailed in herein. The City of Hutto will consider bids from business entities that demonstrate the ability to complete the Project within the guidelines of this Solicitation, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local rules, laws, and regulations and the terms and conditions contained in Exhibit B. Respondent must execute Exhibit A and complete other items listed on the Submission Checklist to be considered for award.
Background
The City of Hutto, a home rule municipality, is seeking sealed bids for the removal and replacement of existing sidewalks to enhance accessibility and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
This project aims to improve public infrastructure in alignment with local regulations and standards.

Work Details
The project consists of removing and replacing 35,604 square feet (SF) of sidewalk and 106 ADA compliance standard ramps.
Additionally, the installation of an extra 188 SF of sidewalks is required.
The contractor is responsible for notifying residents near work areas, obtaining a No Cost Right of Way Permit through mypermitnow.com, and ensuring compliance with ADA standards through a Registered Accessibility Specialist.
Backfill of sidewalks and re-vegetation must adhere to The City of Hutto's Erosion, Sediment, and Tree Protection Notes as specified in Exhibit E.
The sidewalk width will be 4 feet, matching existing widths. Contractors must visit the site prior to bidding and must be registered with the City of Hutto.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and is effective until September 30, 2025.
The City may extend the contract term upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the City of Hutto, Texas.
