IBM Enterprise License Agreement and Maintenance Services

Background
The State of Texas, by and through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), seeks a qualified Contractor to provide the IBM suite of software and hardware products and associated subscription and support services in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW) and other requirements contained in this Solicitation. HHSC PCS will administer the procurement process for this Solicitation, which includes RFO publication, handling of communications from vendors, as well as managing the receipt of Solicitation Responses for review and evaluation.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide an IBM Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) that includes the following three proprietary IBM direct product offerings which are, Catalog, Cross Brand Allotment (CBA), and S&S. The initial term of any Contract resulting from this Solicitation will be four (4) years. HHSC, at its sole discretion, may extend the Contract for up to one (1) additional year.
The services to be provided include licensing, S&S, and maintenance services for HHSC’s current inventory of IBM products and other offerings, providing S&S for either hardened or virtual configurations for HHSC’s current inventory of IBM appliances, providing a selection of software products and other service offerings including Red Hat products to address future growth within the Enterprise during the Contract Term. Other service offerings include Aggregate Cap Program, S&S Turndown, and CBA.

Period of Performance
The initial term of any Contract resulting from this Solicitation will be four (4) years. HHSC, at its sole discretion, may extend the Contract for up to one (1) additional year.
