Henderson Janitorial

Background
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking bids for janitorial services at their facility located at 325 Fair Park Avenue, Henderson, TX 75654. The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services including daily cleaning, restroom sanitation, floor maintenance, and monthly/semi-annual cleaning tasks. Specific duties include:

1. Daily Cleaning: Dusting, disinfecting drinking fountains, cleaning doors and windows, emptying trash containers, and maintaining cleanliness within 30 feet of the building perimeter.

2. Restroom Cleaning: Scouring and disinfecting commodes and washbasins, mopping floors with disinfectant soap, cleaning mirrors and partitions.

3. Floor Maintenance: Sweeping and mopping various types of flooring including ceramic tile and vinyl composition tile.

4. Monthly Cleaning: Cleaning interior glass panels, dusting high ledges and air vents.

5. Semi-Annual Cleaning: Stripping and waxing vinyl composition tile floors every six months.

The contractor must provide all necessary cleaning supplies while DPS will supply paper products such as towels and toilet paper.

Period of Performance
The contract term begins on September 1, 2025, and ends on August 31, 2030. There is a provision for a possible six-month extension if needed.

All services will be performed at the Texas Department of Public Safety facility located at 325 Fair Park Avenue, Henderson, TX 75654.
