Background
The Texas Department of Public Safety (TXDPS) is seeking bid solicitations for the parking lot striping project at the Houston Gessner Driver License Office, located at 12220-A S Gessner Rd., Houston, TX 77071. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper marking and accessibility of the parking area in compliance with relevant standards.

Work Details
The scope of work includes parking lot striping services as specified in the attached documents. Key components include:

1. Summary of Work: Detailed instructions on the execution of parking lot striping.

2. Add Alternates: Additional options that may be included in the project.

3. Quality Requirements: Adherence to quality assurance and control measures as outlined in Section 01 40 00.

4. Temporary Facilities and Controls: Guidelines for maintaining site cleanliness and safety during construction as per Section 01 50 00.

5. Cleaning and Waste Management: Procedures for managing waste and ensuring cleanliness during and after construction as detailed in Section 01 74 00.

6. Painted Pavement Markings: Use of TX DOT DMS-8220, “Hot Applied Thermoplastic” for pavement markings.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be determined upon contract award, with specific timelines outlined in the final agreement.
