Background
The City of Euless, Texas, is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of a standby emergency generator at the Texas Star Conference Center. This initiative aims to enhance the facility's operational reliability during power outages, ensuring continuous service to the community.

Work Details
The contract involves procuring and installing one Kohler diesel, 3-phase, stationary emergency generator with a capacity of 100 kW / 313 kVA and a 600 amps Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). Specific requirements include:

- Generator specifications:
- 120/208 Volt, 3 phase, 4 wire;
- Turbocharged & after cooled diesel engine;
- UL2200 listed generator package;
- APM402 Microprocessor or latest version;
- Common failure relay;
- Remote ports (RS232 & RS485);
- Minimum 215-gallon double wall fuel tank;
- 400-amp molded case circuit breaker.

- ATS specifications:
- 600 Amp, 120/208V, 3 Phase;
- Service entrance rated with NEMA 3R enclosure.

- Installation includes securely mounting the generator on a concrete pad provided by the city, making all necessary electrical connections to the facility's power supply, conducting system startup and simulated power loss tests. The contractor must also provide lifting services for installation and ensure compliance with all EPA regulations.

Period of Performance
The deadline for bid submission is March 12, 2025, by 2:00 PM. The successful bidder will be expected to complete the installation within a specified timeframe after bid acceptance.

Place of Performance
The installation will take place at the Texas Star Conference Center located at 1400 Texas Star Parkway, Euless, Texas 76040.
