Generator Maintenance & Repair

Background
The City of Hutto, a home rule municipality, is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide on-site maintenance and repair services for generators at various City locations. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all generators operate as designed and to address a broad range of generator-related needs across various City departments.

Work Details
The contractor will provide on-site maintenance and repair services for generators, including troubleshooting, repairing, ordering, and replacing parts according to manufacturer's recommendations. Key responsibilities include:

1. Performing preventive maintenance with a minimum of three quarterly inspections annually.
2. Responding to emergency service calls within one hour and non-emergency calls within four hours.
3. Conducting annual maintenance in the fall, which includes checking fuel levels, changing oil, replacing filters, conducting load tests, and ensuring all safety systems are operational.
4. Maintaining an inventory of parts with 85% available on-site within 24 hours for repairs.
5. Providing detailed inspection reports after each maintenance visit and maintaining service records for all equipment serviced.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will include ongoing maintenance services as specified throughout the year.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various City locations in Hutto, Texas, including but not limited to Enclaves Lift Station, Frame Switch Tank Yard, RSI Lift Station, Creekside Lift Station, and City Hall.
