General Surveying Services Pre-Qualification

Background
The City of Lubbock, TX, is seeking to pre-qualify additional firms for General Surveying Services. The City produces in-house designs for various projects across water, wastewater, roadway, and Right-of-Way sectors.

To ensure compliance with industry standards and state regulations, professional surveys conducted by Registered Professional Land Surveyors (RPLS) are essential. This RFQ aims to identify and select up to five professional surveying companies to provide on-demand general surveying services for various projects.

Work Details
The selected surveying firms will be responsible for providing a complete set of necessary surveying drawings and specifications for both large and small-scale projects. They must demonstrate expertise in the following specialized surveying disciplines:

- Establishing horizontal (NAD83) and vertical (NAVD88) control monuments
- Conducting topographic surveys
- Boundary surveys
- Construction staking
- As-built surveys
- Legal descriptions
- Lot/track surveys
- Title surveys
- Drone mapping
- 3D scanning
- Subsurface utility location.

Coordination with design engineers, contractors, and the City of Lubbock is required for all tasks.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed on an as-needed basis without a guaranteed amount of work or compensation; funding will be allocated per survey basis as projects arise.

The services will be performed throughout the City of Lubbock, TX.
