Fulton Steam Boiler Inspections, Maintenance, and Repair at Lufkin SSLC

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for quarterly inspections, preventative maintenance, and necessary repairs for one Fulton Natural Gas Steam Boiler at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center.

The HHSC oversees the planning and delivery of health and human services in Texas, ensuring that both HHSC and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) can utilize any awarded contract.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services for the Fulton Natural Gas Steam Boiler, Serial # PV793GG:

1) Quarterly inspections in March, June, September, and December, including:
i) Inspecting the interior and exterior of the boiler;
ii) Tear down, gasket replacement, and reassembly of the boiler;
iii) As needed repairs.

2) Provide a rental boiler if repairs take longer than 24 hours.

3) Pricing will be based on a provided Pricing Schedule.

4) The contractor must be located within 100 miles of the Center.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is September 1, 2024. Services will be performed quarterly as specified in the work details.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Lufkin State Supported Living Center, Main Kitchen Building 570, located at 6844 N US Highway 69, Pollok, Texas 75969.
