Flexo Folder Gluer

Background
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is currently requesting bids to establish a purchase order for the refurbishment of a two color Flexo Folder Gluer Machine for use with packaging materials. The awarded vendor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to renew the core machine as specified in specifications.

Work Details
The refurbishing services shall include disassembling, stripping, and repainting each section of the machine. All parts will be inspected for wear/tear and any parts out of tolerance repaired to OEM specifications or replaced.
The feed section will have various components replaced and reconditioned. The print units will have all rolls removed and re-chromed, new constant mesh couplings installed, and more.
The die-cut (slotter) section will have various components replaced, re-chromed shafts, and digital register installed. The folding section will have new folding rail belts and roller bearings installed, direct drive system, glue system, and cross scrap conveyor installed.
The electrical control system will be completely rewired with new parts including push buttons, solenoid valves, wire way supports, control panels with air conditioners, colored HMI, A/C drives with a minimum 2-year warranty. Remote connectivity to machine diagnostics is not permitted inside a correctional facility.
