Fencing at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery - Abilene, TX

Background
The Texas General Land Office (GLO) and the Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB) are issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to solicit bids from qualified vendors for the provision and installation of fencing at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas.

The goal of this contract is to enhance security and aesthetics for newly donated land in accordance with National Cemetery Administration standards.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Phase I: Provide and install approximately 2,100 square feet of black metal chain-link fencing that is six feet in height (6’) with two 16-foot (16’) entrance gates, each consisting of two eight-foot (8’) swing gates, on the south side of West Side Ramp Road.

2. Phase II: Provide and install approximately 5,480 square feet of woven wire fencing that is four feet (4’) in height on the east, south, and west sides of the new property.

3. All newly installed fencing should include a three-to-five-year warranty.

4. Clean up project site to the satisfaction of the On-site Representative (OSR).

Bidders must have been in business providing similar services for a minimum of five years.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeline agreed upon at contract execution, with specific deadlines outlined in the solicitation schedule.

The work will be performed at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery located at 7457 W. Lake Road, Abilene, Texas 79601.
