Eqpt. Service, Parts, and Repairs for Lufkin SSLC

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for Equipment Service, Parts, and Repairs for the Lufkin State Supported Living Center (SSLC).

The mission of HHSC is to oversee and coordinate the planning and delivery of health and human services in Texas. This contract aims to ensure that the equipment used at the Lufkin SSLC is properly maintained and repaired, thereby supporting the agency's operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, parts, shop supplies, freight, materials, and waste disposal fees to perform oil/hydraulic removal from facility-owned tractors, forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and hand-use pallet jacks while working on engines and hydraulic cylinders.

The contractor will also supply transportation of equipment if needed. All equipment, materials, and parts must be new and supported by the manufacturer. The specific equipment requiring repair includes:
- 3 Ford 2910 tractors (model # BA414D Model # BA45C)
- 1 John Deere tractor 990 w/loader
- 1 Doosan forklift (Model # G25N-7)
- 2 Clark forklifts (Serial # NPR345-0715-9508FB and GPX2300429-9090KOF)
- 1 Clark Stand up forklift (model# NPR17)
- 3 Electric Pallet Jacks (Big Joe E30)

All materials must be 'like for like' or approved by the contract manager prior to usage. The contractor guarantees all work performed under this contract for a minimum of one year from the date of full acceptance.

Period of Performance
The contract will begin upon the date of award and will expire on August 31, 2025. The HHS Agency may extend the term of the Purchase Order or other Contract beyond the initial term for up to one year as necessary.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Lufkin State Supported Living Center located at 6844 North US Highway 69, Pollok, Texas 75969. The contractor must be within a 25-mile radius of this facility.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of three years relevant experience in providing similar services. All personnel assigned to perform services must be fully trained with at least three years relevant experience. Bidders are required to provide a minimum of three verifiable references for current or previous contracts of similar size within the last five years. Additionally, all contractor personnel must undergo comprehensive background checks prior to starting work.
