(EME) (PRC 133) CEER Steam Boiler Replacement

Background
The University of Texas at Austin is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the CEER Steam Boiler Replacement project. This project involves installing a new Process Steam Boiler System within the existing high bay in the southern portion of the Engineering Mechanical Engineering Research Center (EME). The new system will serve the Pilot Plant directly south of EME and will completely replace the existing process steam boiler. The aim is to complete the project on time and within budget while minimizing disruption to existing building occupants.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Installation of a new Process Steam Boiler System in the southern high bay of EME.
- Complete replacement of the existing process steam boiler.
- Coordination with other ongoing works by the University and other contractors.
- Compliance with safety standards and regulations during installation.

Period of Performance
The project is scheduled to be completed by December 5, 2025. Work hours are limited to Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, excluding official University holidays. Special restrictions apply during final exam periods and commencement week.

The work will be performed at The University of Texas at Austin, specifically within the Engineering Mechanical Engineering Research Center (EME) located in Austin, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must comply with all requirements outlined in this RFP, including submission of an Electronic HUB Subcontracting Plan (E-HSP) as part of their proposal. Attendance at a mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit is required for eligibility to bid.
