CMAR for Fire Station #7

Background
The City of College Station, Texas is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to perform typical and complete phased construction for the New Fire Station No. 7. The CMAR will work with the City entities, staff, and any appropriate consultants. The project is currently in design by Martinez Architects, LLC and includes approximately 18,200 SF Fire Station with major programmatic elements such as drive-thru apparatus bays, living quarters, administration areas, a day room, climate-controlled gear room, storage areas, and an outdoor patio.

Work Details
The CMAR will work with the Architect during the design phase to analyze the design and assist in bringing the estimated construction cost within the budget. They will propose a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the construction of the Project within the approximate $10 million project construction budget. The City will utilize Martinez Architects, LLC as its representative during the administration of the Project.

Period of Performance
The tentative schedule for this Request for Qualifications includes releasing RFQ to the public on March 6th, 2024, a Pre-Qualification Meeting on March 19th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., deadline for questions and inquiries on March 20th, 2024, and SOQ submission deadline on March 27th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place in College Station, Texas.
