Citywide Shredding Services

Background
The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide confidential and secure shredding services for approximately 30 City departments, encompassing over 180 service locations. The goal of this contract is to ensure the secure disposal of sensitive documents in compliance with applicable regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing shredding services that include:
- Regularly scheduled pickups from various city departments across multiple locations.
- Secure transportation of documents to a shredding facility.
- On-site shredding options may be required at certain locations.
- Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding document destruction.
- Provision of certificates of destruction for shredded materials to ensure accountability and traceability.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will continue until all obligations are fulfilled, with the possibility of extensions as determined by the City.

Services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Austin, Texas, specifically at over 180 designated service locations.
