Camp Bullis- Rooftop Hvac Removal And Replacement

Background
The Texas Military Department is seeking competitive bids for the removal and replacement of a rooftop HVAC unit at Camp Bullis, located in San Antonio, TX. The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation of heating and cooling systems at the Unit Training and Equipment Site (UTES) Building #5. The agency's mission includes maintaining facilities that support military training and operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the following tasks:

1. Remove and dispose of one (1) 3-Ton Carrier Rooftop HVAC Package Unit, Model #48GS-0240.
2. Install a new approved equivalent 3-Ton Rooftop HVAC Package Unit.
3. Disconnect all gas piping, HVAC lines, electrical lines, and low voltage lines from the existing unit.
4. Remove thermostat from the existing unit and install a new programmable thermostat.
5. Install new electrical service for the new unit including breakers and disconnects.
6. Fabricate and install new ductwork as required, ensuring insulation is provided where necessary.
7. Flush and clean existing condensation drain lines to prevent blockages.
8. Ensure compliance with NFPA Fire Codes, City of San Antonio Codes, and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality regulations during installation.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is effective upon the notice of award or purchase order date and will expire one (1) year from that effective date.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed at Camp Bullis - Unit Training and Equipment Site (UTES), Building #5, located at 5097 NW Military Hwy, Building #6005, San Antonio, TX 78257.
