Brownsville HVAC Replacement

Background
The Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units at the Brownsville Area Office.

The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient climate control systems are installed to support the agency's operations at their facility located at 2901 East Paredes Line Road, Brownsville, TX 78526.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete replacement of HVAC units as specified in the Statement of Work.

This includes all necessary labor, materials, and equipment required to perform the installation in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. The contractor must also provide a transition plan if a new contractor is awarded in the future.

Specific requirements include: compliance with specifications outlined in the Statement of Work Exhibit, timely service call response times, warranty call response times, and adherence to prevailing wage rates as mandated by state law.

Period of Performance
The contract term commences on the effective date stated in the signing document and expires on August 31, 2025.

DPS reserves the right to extend performance for up to six months if necessary.
