Backflow Testing and Repair Services at Big Spring State Hospital

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system.

The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for Backflow Testing and Repair Services at Big Spring State Hospital. Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Backflow Testing and Repair Services at Big Spring State Hospital located at 1901 N Highway 87, Big Spring, TX 79720.

The services include pressure tapping services, pipe freezes, toilets, and other plumbing maintenance and repair services as specified in NIGP Class/Item No(s): 910-60. The contractor must respond to service calls within twenty-four (24) hours of request from the HHS Agency. Services must be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time, with provisions for emergency services outside these hours if approved in writing by the HHS Agency Contract Manager. The contractor is responsible for all labor, tools, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to perform the services.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is upon award of the contract.
