Austin HQ Roof Replacement

Background
The Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas is issuing this solicitation for the roof replacement project at their Headquarters Building H located at 5805 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX 78752. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper removal and replacement of the existing roof in accordance with specified requirements to maintain the integrity and safety of the building.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing roof and replacing it with a new roofing system as detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW) and Roof Drawings exhibits. This includes all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to complete the project. The contractor must comply with all specifications outlined in the solicitation, including but not limited to:

- Providing a transition plan if required.
- Ensuring compliance with insurance and bonding requirements.
- Adhering to prevailing wage rates as mandated by Texas law.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on the effective date stated in the signing document or purchase order and will expire on August 31, 2025. There is a possibility for a six-month extension if necessary for re-advertising or transitioning to a new contract.
