Asbestos Testing and Air Monitoring Services

Background
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is issuing a solicitation for Asbestos Testing and Air Monitoring Services. The goal of this contract is to provide inspections, sampling, and testing for Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM). This includes preparing plans for abatement and monitoring abatement projects, including air monitoring. The services will be performed in buildings and structures owned by TxDOT as well as other properties associated with highway improvements throughout the State of Texas.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Conducting inspections, sampling, and testing for ACM;
2. Reporting results of inspections;
3. Preparing plans for ACM abatement;
4. Monitoring abatement projects.

Services must be performed at TxDOT facilities, properties associated with right-of-way improvements, bridges, and other highway structures across Texas.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue until all services are completed or until the end of the specified contract term. A tentative date for contract award is set for December 10, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided throughout the State of Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must be in good financial standing and current in payment of all taxes and fees. Vendors must have the financial capacity to perform the requirements of the contract and provide audited or un-audited financial statements as required. Additionally, if subcontractors are used, a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) must be submitted.
