Aircraft Broker Services

Background
The Texas A&M University System is one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a budget of $7.3 billion. It educates over 157,000 students and engages in extensive research and outreach programs.

The agency is seeking qualified firms to provide aircraft broker services for the purchase of aircraft on an as-needed basis, aiming to ensure quality service delivery and efficiency.

Work Details
The selected broker will be responsible for:
1. Conducting a wide geographical search for prospective sellers of aircraft as needed.
2. Providing a comprehensive list of aircraft currently on the market that meet the A&M System's requirements, including details such as make, model, serial number, asking price, airframe hours, maintenance records, and any known incidents or accidents.
3. Leading negotiations on purchase prices and associated costs for selected aircraft.
4. Reviewing letters of intent and purchase agreements, assisting with pre-purchase reviews, evaluating escrow and closing elements, and coordinating aircraft delivery.

The broker may also assist with the sale of an A&M System aircraft if requested.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective upon execution for a period of two (2) years, with the possibility of extending for up to two additional two-year terms upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily within Texas as required by the Texas A&M University System.
