Accounts Payable Recovery Audit RFP

Background
MD Anderson seeks to engage accounts payable audit services, as part of its Internal Audit department, to assist MD Anderson with independent, objective assurance services. The primary function of an accounts payable recovery audit is to identify erroneous overpayments and under-deductions made to suppliers, ensuring that all payments made to vendors and suppliers are accurate, valid, and in compliance with MD Anderson Cancer Center's policies and procedures.

Work Details
The work involves providing accounts payable recovery audit services to identify erroneous overpayments and under-deductions made to suppliers. This includes ensuring that all payments made to vendors and suppliers are accurate, valid, and in compliance with MD Anderson Cancer Center's policies and procedures.

The Scope of Work includes the methodology for accounts payable audit, data analytics and software tools utilized, protection of sensitive/protected data, onsite presence requirements, success measurement, knowledge-sharing of best practices related to accounts payable, compliance with Institute of Internal Auditors’ Standards and Government Auditing Standards, managing challenges/obstacles to accomplishing project objectives, reporting capabilities.

Period of Performance
The RFP was released on April 10th, 2024 at 8:40 AM CDT and the closing date for submissions is May 9th, 2024 at 4:00 PM CDT. The Pre-Submittal Conference will be held on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024 at 11am (CST).

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at MD Anderson Cancer Center located at 7007 Bertner Ave, Houston, Texas 77030-3907.
