ABIA Emergency Generator Service Contract

Background
The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking a Contractor to provide Scheduled Maintenance on four (4) Emergency Generators and four (4) Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) located at the ABIA Armed Forces Reserve Center in Austin, Texas.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and reliability of these critical power systems.

Work Details
The scope of work includes all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, superintendence, insurance, incidentals, and services necessary to fully complete the work for the project.
Specific tasks include:
1. Scheduled maintenance on four generators:
- Building 9560: Kohler 600 KW Diesel Generator
- Building 9530: Cummins 750 KW Diesel Generator
- Building 9540: Cummins 750 KW Diesel Generator
- Building 9550: Cummins 750 KW Diesel Generator
2. Quarterly inspections for each generator covering visual inspections, coolant checks, oil level checks, fuel system inspections, air induction and exhaust system checks, starting system checks, and control panel inspections.
3. Annual services including changing oil and filters, performing fuel analysis, and conducting load bank testing.
4. Maintenance of Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) including visual inspections of wiring components and enclosure cleaning.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is one year from the effective date stated in the notice of award with three optional one-year renewal periods available.

Place of Performance
ABIA Armed Forces Reserve Center, 5102 Emma Browning Ave, Austin TX 78719.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must provide proof of qualifications to perform generator service in Texas. The awarded Contractor must maintain specified insurance coverage throughout the contract term and provide certificates of insurance within five business days of notice of award.
