Background
The City of Highland Village, Texas is issuing a solicitation for the A/C Water Line Replacement Project. This project aims to replace water lines on multiple streets including Oak Street, Cedar Drive, Edgewood Drive, Lakeland Drive, Merriman Drive, and Gayle Lane.

The plans and specifications for this project have been prepared by Schaumburg & Polk, Inc. (SPI).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the replacement of water lines along the specified streets. This includes all necessary excavation, installation of new piping, and restoration of the affected areas post-installation.

The project also includes work on the Gayle Lane Storm Drain as part of the overall scope.

A Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Additionally, bidders must submit a Contractor’s Certificate of Insurance that includes specific provisions such as adding the City as an additional insured and ensuring workers' compensation coverage.
