Owner's Representative Services

Background
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro), through its Department of General Services (DGS), is seeking proposals for Owner's Representative services. The goal is to engage qualified firms to assist in various capital improvement projects, including new construction, renovations, and maintenance.

This solicitation aims to establish an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract without guaranteeing minimum or maximum purchase amounts.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide administrative, management, technical, and other required services in support of multiple undefined projects throughout Metro. Specific responsibilities include:
- Assisting with project budgets and schedules.
- Consulting on construction delivery methods.
- Evaluating and negotiating contracts with project team members.
- Coordinating the preparation of project descriptions and schedules.
- Managing project budgets and schedules to avoid interruptions.
- Conducting progress meetings and reviewing construction progress.
- Ensuring compliance with Metro Design and Construction Guidelines.
- Overseeing the close-out process including obtaining necessary approvals and warranties.

Additionally, the Owner's Representative must have extensive experience in various project types such as administrative facilities, public safety facilities, community centers, and disaster recovery projects.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will continue as needed based on project requirements. No work shall be performed until a Metro-issued Purchase Order is received.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout Nashville, TN as designated by Metro for each specific project.
