ITQ 2025-10 King Street Dog Park Chain Link Fence Project

Background
The City of Johnson City, Tennessee, is issuing this Invitation to Quote (ITQ) for the King Street Dog Park Chain Link Fence Project. The project aims to enhance the park's facilities by installing a new chain link fence and gates, contributing to the safety and accessibility of the park for residents and visitors.

The project site is located at 246 W. King Street, Johnson City, TN.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and supplies necessary to install approximately 1088 feet of black chain link fencing. This includes two (2) 10-foot double swing gates and two (2) 5-foot single gates.

The specifications include:
- Fencing: 72” H – 9 GA Black Vinyl Commercial Chain Link Fence
- Line Posts: Minimum 2” O.D. SS40
- Terminal/End/Corner Posts: Minimum 2 1/2” O.D. SS40
- Fabric: 9 GA x 2” Mesh
- Top Rail: 1 5/8” O.D.
- Bottom Rail: 1 5/8” O.D.
- Post Caps: Dome Style
- Ties: 9GA Aluminum
- Footings for Terminal Posts: 48” Deep x 12”; Line Posts: 42” Deep x 10”
- Concrete: 3000 PSI with a maximum post spacing of 10 feet.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed by May 6, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the King Street Dog Park located at 246 W. King Street, Johnson City, TN.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a State Contractors Envelope form and a copy of their license if the quote exceeds $25,000. They must also submit an Insurance Checklist and General Contract Form, along with a Drug-Free Workplace affidavit.

Vendors are required to have a testing program compliant with TCA Title 50 Chapter 9 Part 1 for drug and alcohol testing.
