ITQ 2025-04 Police Special Purpose Vehicle Outfitting

Background
The City of Johnson City is seeking quotes for outfitting a special purpose vehicle, specifically a 2024 Mercedes Sprinter 4500 High-Roof Cargo Van. The goal of this contract is to equip the vehicle with various features and equipment necessary for police operations, enhancing their operational capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide outfitting services for one (1) 2024 Mercedes Sprinter 4500 High-Roof Cargo Van, Model #M4CAEH. The outfitting must include:

- Heavy-Duty Skid Plates
- Heavy-Duty Running Boards
- Separate Air Conditioning Unit in Rear Compartment tied to Front HVAC System
- Full-Length Interior Grab Handles affixed to Rear Cargo Headliner
- Grab Handles installed at Rear & Side Exit Doors
- Thule (or equivalent) Roof-Mounted Awning
- Police Radio Noise and Electrical Suppression Package meeting OEM standards
- Rear Seat Options: Install Flip-Up Bench Seats on Both Sides or Fixed Rear Padded Bench Seats with Enclosed Under-Seat Storage
- Exterior Storage Cabinets
- Blue LED “Hide-a-Way” Lights in Headlight Assembly and Taillight Assembly
- Code 3 Rear Spoiler Blue Light Bar or equivalent
- One Front & Two Rear Red/White 6” Dome Lights
- Fuse Block Accessory Connector Outlet Box installation with at least one (1) three-tier 12-volt outlet per side of the rear compartment and two (2) USB outlets along the rear bench seats.

All equipment must be installed to industry/manufacturer standards and may require demonstration.

Period of Performance
The delivery of the outfitted vehicle is requested as soon as possible, with a final delivery deadline no later than June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the contractor's location, which must be within 150 miles of Johnson City, TN.
