Background
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) is seeking proposals for an Enterprise Firewall and Network Security contract. The goal of this solicitation is to enhance Metro's technical security controls, particularly focusing on the existing firewall/VPN infrastructure and associated application software. This initiative aligns with Metro's mission to ensure secure and efficient operations within its IT environment.

Work Details
The contractor will provide support for multiple technical security controls, including:

1. Solutions: Purchase of related products such as hardware, software, and licenses at a set discount from list pricing from providers including CheckPoint (firewall, VPN), CoFense (phishing awareness training), Trend Micro (endpoint antimalware), LogRhythm (log aggregation), BeyondTrust (privileged access management), Absolute (remote access management), ForcePoint (web access management), Security ScoreCard (vendor risk management), and Tenable (vulnerability management).

2. Implementation: Guidance on installation and implementation of the aforementioned products.

3. Contracted Maintenance: Maintain records and assist in renewals of software/hardware maintenance contracts.

4. Technical Support: Direct access to specialists for post-installation support, troubleshooting, and bug reporting.

5. Consulting: Information security consulting services regarding product announcements or end-of-life notices.

6. Information Security Assessment: Testing services including network/application layer assessments, physical security assessments, and social engineering tests.

7. Training: Operator and technical training for CheckPoint, LogRhythm, Tenable, and Absolute.

Period of Performance
The contract term shall not exceed five years from the date it is signed by all required parties.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Metro site locations in Nashville, TN.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must comply with MBE/WBE participation goals of 9% for Minority Business Enterprises and 5% for Women Business Enterprises as outlined in the solicitation. All subcontractors must be registered with Metro prior to the solicitation closing date. Additionally, offerors must provide a Certificate of Insurance covering general liability, professional liability, automobile liability, worker's compensation, cyber liability, and technological errors/omissions.
