Background
Anderson County Government is seeking bids for mowing services for various schools within the county. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the school grounds are maintained in a clean and safe manner, promoting a healthy environment for students and staff. The contract will be issued by the Anderson County Purchasing Office, located in Clinton, Tennessee.

Work Details
The contractor will provide weekly mowing services at the following schools:

- Andersonville Elementary School
- Briceville Elementary School
- Claxton Elementary School
- Clinch River Community School
- Clinton Middle School
- Dutch Valley Elementary School
- Fairview Elementary School
- Grand Oaks Elementary School
- Lake City Elementary School
- Lake City Middle School
- Norris Elementary School
- Norris Middle School
- Norwood Elementary School
- Norwood Middle School
- Anderson County Headstart Office.

The job specifications include mowing grass, trimming around all obstacles, and blowing or removing debris from sidewalks and walking surfaces. Bidders must submit a price for one cut at each location. The county anticipates needing approximately 30 cuts per season; however, this number is not guaranteed. A one-year contract with four one-year renewal options is anticipated. The county reserves the right to award contracts for select locations and to multiple vendors.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for one year with four optional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various school locations throughout Anderson County in Tennessee.
