Animal Control Management Services

Background
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, through its Department of General Services, is soliciting proposals for Animal Control Management Services. This solicitation is a continuation of RFQ 376389 and aims to establish a 5-year contract to provide these services across all Metro Departments and Agencies. The goal is to ensure effective management of animal control issues within the jurisdiction.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive animal control management services, which include:

- Control services for wild, violent, or domesticated animals such as skunks, snakes, geese, opossums, bats, birds, rats, raccoons, armadillos, coyotes, beavers, and hogs.
- All necessary labor, equipment, and materials required for animal control.
- Elimination of existing animals or pests and prevention of their return within practical limits.
- Provision of all equipment and chemicals necessary for animal control at no additional cost to Metro.
- Coordination with Metro representatives regarding the application schedule for chemicals or traps.
- A commitment to a two-hour response time during Metro business hours (Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM), including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Repair services related to damages caused by animals as authorized by Metro.
- Compliance with all applicable Tennessee certifications and licenses for performing the work under this contract.

Period of Performance
The contract will be in effect for a period of five years from the date of award.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed throughout the Metropolitan Government's jurisdiction in Nashville, TN.
